Coming next month artist Ariel Olivetti and writer Nick Spencer will bring Iron Fist and the Immortal Weapons back in action again along side Iron Man and War Machine for Fear It Self tie in issue of
Iron Man 2.0. I had to opportunity to interview artist Ariel Olivetti. Here is what we talked about.
IFF-Looking at the preview the artwork looks great, How is it like working with Nick Spencer?
AO- Very Good! his scripts are very exciting!
IFF-How many issues will it feature iron fist and immortal weapons?
AO- I really do not know yet.
IFF-Are you a fan of Iron Fist, and how was it like drawing Iron Fist
AO- No, the truth is that it is the first time i am dealing with this character, I'm sorry.
IFF- Which of the immortal weapons was the most interesting for you and was your favorite and why?
AO-It is the first time drawing them, and all of them are very interesting from a visual point of view.
IFF-Any favorite moment you want to share ?
AO- The Action pages are fun and there is an interesting double page featuring Iron Fist.
IFF-What can fans expect in general ?
AO-A lot of action and lots of color, I hope that you have a good time reading this story, I'm having so much fun drawing it.
IFF-Any other projects you are working on that you want to share?
AO-I am currently doing designs for Marvel slideshow sculptures.

Am a huge Iron Fist fan but don't know anything about the Iron Age or Fear Itself (not big into the "mega" events at all--in fact I avoid them). Are you able to clearly outline, for the guy who reads very few comics these days, which books will include Iron Fist as a major player? Thank you for your site.

1.Fear it self issue 3 and 4, writer Matt Fraction clearly stated Iron Fist will play a big role

2.Iron Man 2.0, starting from issue 5.Danny and the Immortal Weapons will be featured and that also will be a Fear it self tie in.

3.Iron Age mini series, as far as it is known now luke cage and iron fist will have one issue. I think also they will play a major role in the mini it self aside from one issue.

4.Iron Fist will also play a role in Spiderman's summer event Spider-Island. Less information is known just an announcement so far.

5.New Avengers on going series-Iron Fist played a major role in the first arc and still continue to appear in the current run.
6.Power Man & Iron Fist mini series featuring Iron Fist and his new protege Vic Alvarez(new Powerman) four issues released so far.
Iron Fist got a major role in the new "heroes for hire" series.
I'd love to see some of these characters pop up in the new Avengers movie, maybe even just cameos would be nice.
