Fresh out of ECCC a fan asked Marvel's top architect and writer of Immortal Iron Fist , Matt Fraction the status of Iron Fist and his involvement. As quoted from CBR :
"The cosmic query was followed by a fan asking if Iron Fist would return to the mystical side of kung fu, along the lines of the stories that Fraction and Brubaker wrote together. Fraction responded, "Read 'Fear Itself' #4 and stay tuned."
I am guessing this will add on Iron Fist being part of the pillars of Fear It Self event. I believe Matt Fraction has big plans for Iron Fist if not for nothing,a significant role in the upcoming event will be fine for me. Hopefully this will lead Danny Rand getting his own on going series. So folks mark Fear Itself # 4 a must have and stay tuned for more information as it drops will surely let it be known.
